Investigators have worked
through the weekend to collect the information necessary to identify the
individual responsible for shooting Mr. Sanchez in the face early
Saturday morning, March 3, 2012. The results of the investigation so
far have been presented to a Spartanburg County Judge who has issued
warrants for the arrest of Walter S. Flores, 26 years old, on the
following charges: one count each of Possession of a Weapon During the
Commission of a Violent Crime, Attempted Murder and Burglary 1st Degree .
Investigators are currently searching for Mr. Flores who they believe
is driving a silver in color 2001 Nissan Altima with a Nikko Auto Sales
paper tag on it. Photos of a silver in color 2001 Nissan Altima are
attached to this email. These are not photos of the suspect’s vehicle!
They are being provided as a visual reference for the media and the
public. Mr. Walter Flores is considered Armed and Dangerous. Anyone who
sees Mr. Flores is advised not to approach him or attempt to detain him.

The investigation into this incident is ongoing and additional suspects
are expected to be identified and charged in connection with this case.
As these suspects are identified and charged we will be releasing their
information to the media.
*CASE #12030133: On 03/03/2012 @
approximately 0353 hrs, Deputies responded to 1055 Hayne St,
Spartanburg, SC in reference to a shooting. Upon arrival Deputies
located a Hispanic male, (Victim - Kenny Sanchez), suffering from a
single gunshot wound to the left eye area. Sanchez was able to advise
that three Hispanic males came to his residence and that one produced a
gun (unknown caliber) and shot him in the face. The three then fled the
scene in a white or grey Nissan Altima. Investigators are following up
leads in this case this morning and are continuing to gather evidence
and interview individuals that may have information about this case. At
this time there have been no charges filed against anyone or any arrests
made. Mr. Sanchez is being treated for his non-life threatening
injuries at a local hospital. If anyone has any information about this
