Deputies responded to a report of a robbery at the Lil’ Cricket store on Garner Road about 7:37 PM last night. Upon arrival the clerk informed deputies that a white male, 18 – 25 years old, wearing black baggy pants, orange t-shirt and a blue baseball cap with a white horseshoe insignia on it (see attached photos) entered the store armed with a handgun and demanded money. Once the suspect had the money he fled the store on foot and was last seen running along the railroad tracks near the store. A K-9 team attempted to track the suspect but responding law enforcement was not able to locate the suspect. At this time Investigators with the Sheriff’s Office have not been able to link this suspect with any other robberies within Spartanburg County.
