Yesterday deputies responded to 123 Old Low Road in response to an assault call. Once on the scene further investigation into this call revealed that the ten children living at 270 Old Low Road were living in conditions not conducive to their health and well being. Deputies made the decision to place all of the children into emergency protective custody. The parents of the children, Andrej and Natalia Sokil were arrested and charged with three counts each of Neglect of a Child or Helpless Person and transported to the Spartanburg County Sheriff’s Office Detention Center where they are awaiting a bond hearing at a time to be set by the court.
The children are as follows: 1 year old female, 2 year old male, 4 year old male, 6 year old male, 7 year old female, 9 year old male, 11 year old male, 12 year old male, 14 year old male, and a 15 year old female. Andrej and Natalia Sokil are the biological parents of the children.
