On March 7, 2014 a report was filed with the Spartanburg County Sheriff’s Office regarding illegal sexual contact between the complainant’s boyfriend, Xavier Fair, and two underage minor female children. An investigation into these allegations was conducted by an Investigator assigned to the Sheriff’s Office Special Victims Unit. The Investigation discovered that Mr. Fair had engaged in sexual battery with one or both of the two female victims, ages 8 years old and 16 years old at the time the report was filed, over a period of time between November 22, 2005 through March 7, 2014. These findings were presented to a Spartanburg County Magistrate Judge who issued warrants for the arrest of Mr. Fair on two counts of Criminal Sexual Conduct with a Minor less than 11 years old. Mr. Fair was returned to Spartanburg County from Phoenix, Arizona and booked into the Spartanburg County Sheriff’s Office Detention Center early this morning. He is currently awaiting a bond hearing at a time to be set by the court.
